The Angels & Friends Foundation relies on Volunteers for several roles. 

Current Roles Available: 

Brand Manager:

·         Regularly attends board meetings and important related meetings.

·         Makes serious commitment to participate actively in committee work.

·         Voting member of the board.

·         Volunteers for and willingly accepts assignments and completes them thoroughly and on time.

·         Stays informed about committee matters, prepares themselves well for meetings, and reviews and comments on minutes and reports.

·         Gets to know other committee members and builds a collegial working relationship that contributes to consensus.

·         Coordinates the production of the visual content of all communications, start to finish – including graphic design, video and website.

·         Ensures consistent look, style, and feel for communications and educating committees on brand.

·         Website and blog maintenance.

·         Social media management including responding, commenting, tagging, retweeting, etc.

Annual Commitment:

·         Quarterly Meeting of the Board of Directors

·         Monthly planning meetings for fundraising initiatives, tentatively booked for the first Thursday of each month – approx. 1 - 2 hours

·         Participation in any chosen committees would each have its own time commitment depending on activity throughout the year.

Term Position:

·         2 years


Secretary:

·         Regularly attends board meetings and important related meetings.

·         Makes serious commitment to participate actively in committee work.

·         Voting member of the board.

·         Volunteers for and willingly accepts assignments and completes them thoroughly and on time.

·         Stays informed about committee matters, prepares themselves well for meetings, and reviews and comments on minutes and reports.

·         Gets to know other committee members and builds a collegial working relationship that contributes to consensus.

·         Coordinates dates/times and invitations for all meetings.

·         Collects agenda items and distributes agenda prior to meeting date.

·         Facilitates meetings by ensuring meeting is staying on time and ensures timely distribution of meeting minutes.

·         Collects review comments after distribution of the meeting minutes.

·         Maintains records of the board and ensures effective management of organization's records.

·         Manages minutes of board meetings and has knowledge of corporation’s bylaws to apply to meetings.

·         Gets to know other committee members and builds a collegial working relationship that contributes to consensus.

·         Serves on committees or undertakes special projects as required.
